Having worked as a drama practitioner for ten years, Naomi has learned to recognise and address the issues of more challenging students. Whether their objective is to be invisible or destructive, seek attention or antagonise, she will identify and resolve any problems enabling the class to work more constructively and cohesively.

The start of a workshop may reveal that there is an underlying problem of mild bullying or cultural ignorance. Naomi will often use these topics as a theme and encourage students to place themselves in the role of the ‘outsider’ to understand their emotions and actions, therefore creating a forum for discussion. |
Naomi aims to give her young actors as much free reign as possible. Ideas, input and feedback are encouraged so that the class will work together and care about what they are creating. No one is allowed to sit on the sidelines.

Constructive conversation, debate and verbal presentation skills are rare commodities today, yet everyone at some point in their lives is likely to be called upon to speak up in front of others. Naomi helps young people find their voice and express themselves effectively, whilst creating a fun and safe setting. |
