"An amazing creative energy"
Naomi has been working with children and young people for many years, in schools and community based settings. She devises, develops and delivers original and inclusive drama educational programmes, encouraging thought and social development.
These ideas she explores through stagecraft, story-making and physical theatre techniques, as well as multi-sensory learning sessions, allowing full accessibility to her work and equal understanding. Her workshops are all inclusive and children learn to work together in an environment of mutual respect and confidence. All projects are produced in partnership with the young people - an approach of many ideas merging.
Constructive conversation, debate and verbal presentation skills are rare commodities today, yet everyone at some point in their lives is likely to be called upon to speak up in front of others. Naomi understands how drama can help build confidence and whilst creating a fun and safe setting, she encourages participants to find their voice and express themselves effectively.
Naomi has created drama projects with a range of schools from primary and secondary, both mainstream and SEN, colleges and drama schools. She has also worked in partnership with various community groups, arts venues and museums.
"Naomi is a rare theatre practitioner that gains mutual respect and creative engagement with the people she works with. Her open approach allows her to respond to the immediate and create a captivating experience for all involved."
