Naomi has often been invited to share her love of storytelling and her skills as an engaging teller of tales. Working within school and community settings, festivals and cultural events, she is a favourite of many headteachers, event organisers and families.
She has performed in role sharing true stories of courageous women who wanted to make a difference, including Mary Seacole and Rosa Parks. These stories are always accompanied by her interactive drama based workshops where participants are encouraged to think of the themes, history and changes they have been told about.
She has captured tales from all over the globe, even outer space and keeps them safely stored in her various 'bags of goodies', ready to mix into a medley of take away stories. Retelling fables both ancient and new, she encourages participation and the writing of new stories with school groups.
As a performer and storyteller Naomi has the ability to make her audience, small or large, from atheatre with 120 children to a small intimate gathering in a library feel important, engaged and special. Her warmth, understanding and skill in delivering a performance comes from a complete understanding of how theare needs to embrace and invite its audience in.
